But interestingly enough, if you look hard enough you will find opposing research on almost every single topics. Let me give you an example; I love chocolate and I am sure you do too. If you look online, you will probably find places that tell you that chocolate is great for you, the best thing you can eat while other people will tell you that chocolate is so bad that it will probably kill you one day.
So, that is what Hope and Health is all about, we try to cut through the clutter and summarized to 8 God-given gifts that can help you achieve optimum health. For example, the first topic that we are going to talk about is water. We are not going to go into a bottled water is better that filtered water or if filter X is better than filter Y. We are going to talk about how simply drinking the adequate amount of water can greatly improve your health.
On our second discussion, we are going to talk about exercise. But we will not sell you a DVD with a special workout program or a piece of fitness equipment that will help you magically achieve your goals. Rather, we will focus on how the right amount of physical activity and fresh and sun like can help you achieve optimum health.
So you get the point, this is not a prescriptive series, we are not going to try to sell you a DVD, a piece of equipment, a magical recipe or any pills. We are going to look at 8 God-given gifts, 8 common sense principles that can help us achieve optimum health. Something that health and hope sets apart is the fact that we will see how trusting God can also help us achieve optimum health.
We will take a look on research that suggest that people who trust God enjoy the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.
