Hope and Health
Who is it for?
If you are interested in becoming healthier through simple lifestyle changes, finding deeper meaning and joy in your life and having the support of a small group of friends, Hope and Health is for you.
What will you learn?
EIGHT lifestyle changes can dramatically improve your health. Learn about the science behind these health benefits and develop strategies within your group to achieve your goals. Each topic includes an encouraging devotional to help you achieve holistic health –body, mind and soul.
Why is it important?
While being healthy is trendy, many of us struggle to achieve holistic health. This series of eight topics will help you make fundamental changes to your life which will improve your health in every way.
Where will you meet?
Hope and Health groups typically meet in homes, community centers, as well as churches and schools. Click here to find out which Hope and Health group meets closest to you.
How does it work?
Groups meet for at least eight weeks and are encouraged to stay in touch longer. Each week groups study one health topic. You will first evaluate the evidence behind the health principle covered that week and the impact it can have in your health. You then set your own weekly health plan and share strategies on how to achieve that goal. (this is the fun part!). Each week you track your progress and help each other stay accountable. The meetings close with a short devotional.
