How much does what we think affect our health? Join us for the final evening in our Hope and Health series. Norman Martin, MD, Oncologist, will talk about how the mind powerfully influences our physical health, “The Gift of Peace: Freedom from Stress.”
Health Coach, Louvina Joseph will show us how to put stretching, cardio, toning and relaxing together into one workout–starting at 6:15 PM.
A packet of vegetarian entrée recipes (from the class, Vegetarian Cooking From Around the World) will be given to each person registered.

Norman J. Martin, MD graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is board certified in Hematology, Adult Oncology, and Internal Medicine. His Army career included Walter Reed Army Medical Center with a faculty teaching appointment at The Georgetown University and tours in Honduras, Panama, and Fort Myers, Virginia.
Dr. Martin has been a principal investigator for NCI cancer trials and has co-authored several journal articles. He will quickly tell you that his status is, “retired from active duty, subject to recall”. Dr. Martin enjoys bicycling, speed-walking, singing in the choir, racket sports, gardening, and time with family.
